Born and based in São Paulo, Fernanda Marques studied architecture at the prestigious Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo (FAU-USP), where, at her time, the architect's training encompassed all dimensions of the project: building, landscaping, industrial design and visual communication. Her father worked as a builder and, from a very early age, she felt attracted to drawing and arts in general. Having interned in the first years of her career at the Aflalo & Gasperini office, for almost three decades she has maintained her own office in the capital of São Paulo, where she has dedicated herself, primarily, to residential and commercial building projects, interior architecture, developments and product design.
